The scooters scoot around the streets of Taipei like cockroaches. They is both very exciting and very dangerous. I have witnessed too many scooter accidents while waiting for the bus. Something happens to the IQ when one gets on a scooter!!

A late baby boomer - born on Valentines day in February 1961. Grew up in Willowdale (North Toronto) to an Estonian family. Very connected to parents/uncle homeland of Estonia. Careers include: Product QA Tester, S/W Programmer, S/W Devoper, Project Manager, ESL Teacher, Technical Writer.

It looks like mostly men drive scooters. Do many women drive them?
Yes, women drive many scooters as well but the majority are men (maybe the ratio is 66-33). Also, there are entire families on one scooter. Dad, mom, three kids and their dog - it is a sight to behold!
